The Villa is positioned in a very peaceful setting, 8 km from Monopoli and its beaches and sea.
The villa comprises two double bedrooms, twin bedroom, two bathrooms, outside terrace with kitchen area with sink, woodfire oven and huge barbecue.
One of the outstanding features of this villa is the outdoor space– and the Villa itself inside is well equipped. Outside there is a shaded verandah around two sides of the house with a outside kitchen area with sink, woodfire oven and huge barbecue. Olive trees and a pomegranate tree give shady cool areas in the garden which also has swings and a slide for children. The are plenty of outside furniture and a large splash pool. There is also an outdoor shower. The garden is beautifully tended with lots of flowering plants and is laid out in such a way that there are distinct areas for playing, reading quietly, sunbathing or eating al fresco.
In the villa there is a living room with an open fireplace (also central heating), a three seat sofa, T.V. etc and a table and four chairs. The kitchen is well equipped (oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, double sink) and has a further table and chairs. Outside the kitchen there is a small terrace for hanging washing.
At one end of the livingroom there are two bedrooms, a double (with air conditioning unit) and a children’ room with twin beds. Both rooms have built in storage and share a bathroom (shower cubicle, WC, sink, bidet).
At the other end is a further, larger double bedroom and another bathroom.

Villa Anna - About the area
Puglia is a wonderful area to consider. It offers at least one excellent archeological museum, a host of cathedrals dating back to the 10th century, Greek and Roman ruins, a gleaming necklace of lively fishing villages, one of Europe's largest forests, a chain of medieval hilltowns, and some of the very cleanest beaches and water in the Mediterranean.
Castellana Grotte stands at the limits of an extended, depressed land-mass. It is the most striking example in a series of places that connote the morphology of the entire Lower-Murgia territory. Castellana Grotte, as its name suggests, is known best for its caves, they are regarded as the most magnificent in Italy. Long galleries alternate with spectacular caves, and all of them filled with many forms of stalactite and stalagmite.
What to see:
- Chiesa del Purgatorio is rich in renaissance and baroque paintings.
- Church of S. Francesco d'Assisi has rich baroque altars, decorated with stone statues and engravings.
- The Grottoes The visitable section of the caves covers about 3km through underground passages, corridors and caves. The terminal point of the route is the spectacular White Cave, which is considered amongst the most beautiful, if not the most beautiful, stalactite cave in the world.
- The Convent of the Frati Francesci is interesting and the annexed church is dedicated to the Madonna della Vetrana, the patron saint of the town, venerated because she saved the inhabitants from the Black death in 1691. This event is remembered during the festival of the "falò" (bonfire) every January, when the picture of the Madonna goes from the convent to the mother church with a solemn procession and, after a week, comes back to the convent.

Villa Anna - Rental conditions and tariffs
Balance is due cash at the beginning of holiday after the check-in with the manager/owner, if you are not able to pay cash, you should pay the total amount by bank transfer before your arrival (cheques and travellers cheque are not allowed).
Due to security and legal reasons law we will check-in only guests who have compiled our booking-form and agreement.
Security deposit (to be refunded at the end of the stay) EUR 250.
Please be sure to leave the house in good condition.

Final cleaning mandatory Eur 70.
Intermediate cleaning mandatory for stay more than one week.
Arrival time is mandatory in the afternoon between 4pm and 8pm (unless otherwise agreed). At arrival later than 8pm an extra charge will be applied.
Please advise us of your departure time at least 24 hours before. The check-out must be taken not later than 10 am.
Electricity is billed by use at EUR 0,30 per KW/h.
Bed linen and bath towels available on request - EUR 10 per person.
Heating - if used - is billed at EUR 50 per week.
